We want to see every young person gain in confidence and ability, make new friends and learn from new experiences. To succeed.

In the summer of 2011 close to 3,500 young people did The Challenge. They learnt about themselves and their potential, their community and the difference they can make to it. They had the opportunity to climb mountains and build rafts; to make films and present their ideas; to meet and understand people who are different to them and develop a social action project. In 2012 we are offering places to over 9,000 young people.

You can help make this a reality for other young people and make a real difference to your local community. We are asking for a donation of £35 to enable a young person from a disadvantaged background to be inspired and make a difference through The Challenge. This will help ensure we are able to bring together young people from all walks of life and build understanding and trust in the local community.

  • £70 to enable two young people from a disadvantaged background in your area to take part
  • £100 to enable three young people from a disadvantaged background in your area to take part
  • or any other amount

Gift Aid
Make your donation worth even more with GiftAid! Gift Aid is a government scheme that can add 28p to every pound that you give us. To qualify for Gift Aid, you must be a UK tax payer and must pay as much income or capital gains tax as The Challenge will reclaim in the tax year (currently 25p for every £1 donated).
